Love Balls Draw: Fire Boy Ice Girl – Cut the Rope is a puzzle game along the lines of other titles like Love Balls and Fireboy and Watergirl, where players have to think up a way to bring together these two lovebird balls, currently separated by a series of obstacles like hanging ropes, walls, and more.

The gameplay in Love Balls Draw: Fire Boy Ice Girl – Cut the Rope is as follows: unlike on other occasions where you have to draw a ramp or a platform that helps you get one ball to roll toward the other, this time what you've got to do is cut one or several of the cords holding back one or both of your characters to make them balance, roll, or fall in an exact spot. Gravity, slopes, speed, and the weight of the balls all influence the final result of the game, meaning you have to be very precise when it comes to cutting the final cord by which your characters are hanging, as from that moment on what happens is out of your control.

Your aim in each level is not only to make the two balls meet (though that is your absolute priority), but also try to collect all the hearts scattered around the map along the way. Based on the number of hearts you manage to collect, you'll get a score at the end of each level that can range from 0 to 3 stars.

Love Balls Draw: Fire Boy Ice Girl – Cut the Rope offers a good stint of fun while you train your brain to solve all the puzzles with a maximum score. Though there are lots of titles with a concept very close to the one here, it's true that the gameplay with the cords gives this one a different and original touch.
